TEACHING ASSISTANT / EYFS PRACTITIONER

(Initially based in Nursery or Reception)

Full Time Permanent Post

37.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday 8:30am-4pm, 38.6 weeks (Term time + inset days)

Start date 1st September 2026

Surrey Pay Scale 3 (£25,133 FTE), Actual annual salary: £22,288

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

  • Has completed or planning to complete a relevant level 3 NVQ qualification
  • Is highly skilled, creative and conscientious, values play and is able to positively engage with children
  • Is experienced in working with EYFS children at school or in a nursery setting
  • Has a positive, resilient and flexible approach
  • Enjoys working as part of a dedicated, vibrant and creative staff team

PRIMARY SPANISH TEACHER

Part Time (0.8 FTE) - Permanent

2 Days teaching at St Michael Catholic Primary School, Ashford

2 days teaching at St Ignatius Catholic Primary School, Sunbury

Start Date: Autumn or Spring Term 2026/27

Salary: Unqualified scale to Main Pay Scale 6

Fringe: £24,066 - £46,839

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of Spanish to join a committed and effective team of teachers across two of the primary schools in the Ascension Catholic Academy Trust.  The successful candidate will participate fully in the life of both schools. Our vibrant and successful schools can help you to develop and flourish.

 

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Will be a knowledgeable, skilled and passionate Spanish specialist looking for an opportunity to teach in our highly successful primary schools
  • Enjoys working as part of a dedicated, dynamic and creative team

  • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
