The Friends of St Michael PTA held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 2nd October and our PTA now has a committee with ten elected members (parents and staff), an elected Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary!
All parents, guardians / carers and staff are members of the PTA and any person wishing to offer appropriate support or help to the school is also very welcome!
Our PTA aims are:
We are a very active group, which organises social and fund raising events to raise money to meet these aims. We hold regular meetings to organise fantastic events such as the Christmas Fayre, the Summer Fayre, Pantomime trips, Coffee Mornings and one off spectaculars!
The funds have enabled the school to invest in resources such as play equipment, library books a Science Lab, an Outdoor Classroom, an Immersive Classroom and most recently a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)!
We welcome any suggestions for fund-raising events and are grateful to anyone able to devote their time to help organise them.
