Lunches

Every day freshly prepared hot meals are cooked in our school kitchen by the staff of Cucina.

SCHOOL MEALS MUST BE ORDERED AND PAID FOR DIRECTLY WITH CUCINA VIA YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOLGRID ACCOUNT BY MIDNIGHT THE DAY BEFORE.

All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. There is a charge for all other children for a hot school meal.

All pupils are given a choice of meal and dessert each day and have access to a salad bar and bread to compliment their meal.

Fruit snack

Fruit is provided each day for children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Children in Years 3 and above are able to bring a piece of fruit to school to enjoy at break time.

Allergies

If your child has food allergies or other dietary requirements, these must be recorded on your child's Schoolgrid account with the required supporting documentation. Once submitted, you will only be able to order from the caterer's menu until the submission is reviewed. A step by step guide can be found here.

It is the parent's responsibility to keep the school and our catering provider updated on your child's allergies and any changes.

Whilst we cannot claim to be a ‘nut free’ school, the food prepared by Cucina does not contain nuts and we ask all parents providing a packed lunch for their children to ensure that no nut based products are included.

Online Payment

Online payments for school lunches must be made through Schoolgrid. Please contact Cucina directly if you have any issues with ordering or payments.

Contact by email primary@impactfood.co.uk or phone 0345 350 3934 (office hours 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday).

If you have not activated your Schoolgrid account, please contact the school office on info@st-michaels.surrey.sch.uk or 01784 253 333
